 Our vineyard: "La Carazita"
Red grapes used for Aglianico and Taurasi come from our own vineyard called "La Carazita", 500 mt/slm. It is about 10 hectares and it is entirely cultivated with Aglianico grape. Plant density 4500 plants/hectare, spurred cordon structure, yield is kept blow 70 q/hectare. The cultivation is made using "integrated agriculture" with the support of our agronomist Celestino Nardone. Production volume is limited to 40,000 bottles.
White Grapes White grapes used for Greco, Fiano and Falanghina come from sites with high vocation to the production of each variety (Santa Paolina per il Greco, Capriglia per il Fiano e San Leucio per la Falanghina).
We don't buy grapes but local producers grows them up for us under specific long term contracts, in order to guarantee the maximum grape quality. We follow directly not only the harvest but also the cultivation. |
